Maria Finnerty is a development economist and lifelong Labour Party member and activist. She leads on economic policy with a focus on global debt and financial system reform at a UK-based development NGO, and has previously worked as an executive adviser to the CEO of one of the world’s largest INGOs and as adviser to a member of the Foreign Affairs Select Committee in Parliament. In this challenging economic and geopolitical context, Maria is passionate about creating a just world in which resources are more equally and sustainably distributed.
