We hope you enjoyed the summer break. Over the summer, LCID has contributed to the Labour Party International Development Policy Review. In addition to our membership of the ‘Beyond Governments’ task force, we also submitted a submission to the main working group.

We believe Labour’s next development policy must engage with the global economy and see the next Labour Government pushing the G20 forward to deliver a plan for jobs and justice – and least developed countries can play a key role in leading the world back to  sustainable economic growth following the global recession while providing new markets and with it new jobs for Britain to the mutual benefit of all.
