War on Want fights poverty in developing countries in partnership with people affected by globalisation. We campaign for human rights and against the root causes of global poverty, inequality and injustice.
The name War on Want was coined by Harold Wilson in 1951.
ColaLife is a great campaign ran by Simon Berry to get Coca-Cola to open up their distribution channels in developing countries to carry ‘social products’, such as oral rehydration salts. They have done some great work so far – http://www.colalife.org
